Earthquake Today: Twin earthquakes struck the Greece-Turkey region early Tuesday, triggering panic and minor injuries. A 6.2-magnitude quake jolted the Dodecanese Islands near the Greece-Turkey border, followed an hour later by a 5.8-magnitude tremor near Marmaris, Turkey. Seven people were injured in Marmaris after jumping from windows in fear. Tremors were felt across Rhodes, southern Greece, and Turkey's western coast. No major damage has been reported yet, but emergency crews remain on alert for aftershocks. Located on active tectonic fault lines, the area is prone to quakes, and scientists continue to monitor increased seismic activity around Santorini since February.
