Unless you haven’t heard, the ongoing government shutdown that began on October 1, 2025, there is a high risk that SNAP benefits will be delayed, reduced, or entirely cut off for many recipients starting in November.
This costs American taxpayers around $8 billion for roughly 42 million Americans.
42 million Americans should not be on food stamps.
