Premier Jacinta Allan has opened the new parliamentary sitting fortnight by pushing the ‘First Peoples Treaty’, ignoring Victoria’s youth crime crisis to instead focus on creating a new tier of government.

Her opening line? “Families are better off when they have a say, control and responsibility over their lives...” What a sick joke.
