Credit where it's due, the National's stood on principles and showed themselves willing to pay a price to do what was right.

Sadly it was not enough to stop the 'Hate Groups' bill, and it caused the coalition to splinter because the Liberals supported the bill.

But what now? Are the National Party now 'homeless' and lost? Or are they ready to forge their own path and grow in their own right?

And how will this play out in a political landscape where the rise of One Nation appears to be unstoppable?
