Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke advises the House of Reps that he wants to get through all of the proposed amendments to the ‘Hate Speech’ bill without debate for the convenience of the Labor Party.
Katy Gallagher says the Senate will sit from 2pm on Tuesday and debate the split hate speech bill for “as long as it takes.” Liberal-National senators are now reportedly the deciding factor on whether certain amendments will pass.
