Federal Health Minister Mark Butler has introduced a bill to empower the new Director-General of the ‘Centre for Disease Control’ (CDC), allocating $251.7M with an ongoing $73.3M annual budget.
The bill also claims compliance with international human rights but justifies limiting them for public health reasons.
Mark Butler warns: “There will be another pandemic, the only question is when.”
