Australians pay more tax on beer than companies do on offshore natural gas exports, treasury has confirmed in response to a question from independent senator David Pocock.
🇺🇸 Sen. Markwayne Mullin backed “show me your papers,” saying if you’re in the U.S. legally there’s nothing to fear since most people already carry a government ID and use it for things like boarding a train anyway.
