-In response to the attempted bombing terror attack, the WA Government will seek to criminalise the ‘wearing of an intimidating face mask’ and give police greater power to reject protest permits if an event is likely to offend a minority group.
NSW Premier Chris Minns says people might not be happy with how protesters were handled on Monday night, but insists the government made the right call in directing police to respond as they did because the situation could have been far worse.
