Pete Hegseth just took a Sledgehammer to the Mother of all DEI Programs – The Federal 8(a) Program!

The 8(a) program is a long-standing Small Business Administration (SBA) program that started decades ago. It lets companies owned by people considered "socially and economically disadvantaged" (often minorities) get special access to government contracts and WIN them without Competition.

Billions of dollars in federal contracts go through this program every year.

The MAJOR PROBLEM with a lot of 8(a) companies is that they win these huge contracts, then immediately turn around and subcontract ALMOST ALL of the actual work to regular (non-8(a)) companies. They actually don’t do any work and collect huge checks for doing literally nothing. Not anymore…. BILLIONS SAVED

Absolutely insane how much of our tax-dollars have been wasted.
