Punishing Compliance Won’t Make Australia Safer

In the wake of tragedy, Australia deserves calm leadership, honest accountability, and solutions that actually address the cause of violence.

In this video, our family shares why the proposed national gun buyback and so-called “10-point plan” miss the mark — and why focusing on lawful, compliant Australians is not the answer.

This isn’t about politics.
It isn’t about fear.
And it isn’t about guns.

It’s about family, tradition, responsibility, and the people who have spent decades doing everything right.

You’ll hear:
• A lifetime perspective from a lawful firearm owner
• What hunting, sport, and competition mean to a young Australian
• How these proposals affect families, education, businesses, and community life
• Why compliance is being targeted instead of intent, radicalisation, and system failures

We acknowledge the lives lost and the families impacted. Nothing here diminishes that grief.

But we also believe Australians deserve policies based on evidence — not optics — and a conversation that doesn’t scapegoat communities who already follow the law.

This is a call to think critically, ask better questions, and consider what happens when a red pen is drawn through the things people love — without addressing the real threat.

Respectful discussion is welcome.
Silencing communities is not.
