Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has recorded a video message for Australian teenagers, urging them to make the most of the upcoming social media ban.
Health Minister Mark Butler has put every social media platform on notice, saying they must meet age-verification requirements by 10 December to make the law work or face fines of up to $50 million.
