Iran said its armed forces are prepared to respond immediately and forcefully to any US attack after President Donald Trump warned that Tehran must negotiate a “fair and equitable” nuclear deal or face a US military “armada,” referencing past strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and warning that any future attack would be worse.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told a Senate committee that while the Trump administration does not intend or expect to use military force in Venezuela, President Donald Trump retains the option to do so, citing self-defence.
France said it will replace Microsoft Teams and Zoom with the domestically developed Visio platform across all government departments by 2027, citing security and confidentiality concerns and a desire to end reliance on non-European software, particularly US-based platforms.
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas warned that Europe must urgently strengthen its own defence capabilities and reduce reliance on the United States, saying the transatlantic relationship has undergone a structural shift and that no major power has survived by outsourcing its security.
