🔴 What is DDT?
• DDT (Dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane) is a synthetic pesticide used widely in the 1940s–1970s. It was banned in the U.S. in 1972 due to its environmental and health impacts.
• DDT is toxic to humans and highly toxic to wildlife, especially birds and aquatic life
• DDT is highly linked to cancer (e.g., breast cancer), reproductive issues, and immune system damage.
—— Can cause neurological problems and developmental issues in children.
I just read up on it, and although most reports are not mainstream, experts say it’s one of the largest environmental catastrophes waiting to happen.
And this site is 1 of 18 known dump-sites in the U.S…. Crazy.
