NSW Parliament has opened with a dissent motion moved by Mark Latham, opposing the government’s push for unlimited debate time.
Governor-General Sam Mostyn says that despite “many people yelling at me, telling me I should sack the government,” the proper response is for voters to make their decision at the next election.
