This is real. And itโ€™s happening right now.

New York just passed the so-called โ€œCOPA Actโ€ โ€” a law that would force homeowners to offer their property to the government or NGOs before they can sell it freely.

And one city councilwoman blew the whistle.

Councilwoman Vickie Paladino didnโ€™t mince words. She flat-out warned this is theft by policy.

She called it โ€œridiculous and shamefulโ€ โ€” and sheโ€™s right.

Her message was crystal clear:
If you own a home โ€” whether itโ€™s a two-family, three-family, or four-family โ€” itโ€™s YOUR property.
You earned it. You own it.
You should be able to sell it to whoever you choose.

Instead, this law forces homeowners to:
โ€ข Go through city bureaucrats
โ€ข Wait six months
โ€ข Give nonprofits first dibs
โ€ข And ask permission to sell what they already own

Thatโ€™s not regulation.
Thatโ€™s government overreach on steroids.

Paladino called it exactly what it is:
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œManiacal.โ€

She said no homeowner who worked their entire life to buy property should be told they must offer it to a nonprofit first โ€” while their neighbor across the street couldโ€™ve bought it outright.

Her closing line hit hard:
Everyone supporting this should be embarrassed.

This isnโ€™t housing policy.
This is the government inserting itself between you and your property.

If they can do it in New Yorkโ€ฆ
They can try it anywhere.

What do you think โ€” protection or outright theft? ๐Ÿ‘€
