In Texas, The city of Dickinson, about 30 miles (48km) south of Houston, required anyone seeking money for repairs after Hurricane Harvey, included a “pro-Israel clause” required under a Texas state law, which stated applicants to certify that they "(1) do not boycott Israel; and (2) will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement."
